Evacuees Need Your Help

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls is currently hosting evacuees from Pikangikum First Nation. Due to the nature of the evacuation, many of them have left their homes with few belongings.

We are calling out to our community to lend a helping hand. If you have any clean clothing (weather appropriate) or toys that you can donate, please bring them to the Legion between 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. this Friday June 7th or Saturday June 8th.

La ville de Smooth Rock Falls accueille des évacuées de la Première nation de Pikangikum. En raison de la nature de l’évacuation, beaucoup d’entre eux ont quitté leur domicile avec peu d’article.

Nous appelons notre communauté à donner un coup de main. Si vous pouvez donner des vêtements propres (en fonction des conditions météorologiques) ou des jouets, apportez-les à la légion entre 13 h – 15h ce vendredi le 7 juin ou samedi le 8 juin.
