The Town also boasts an EarlyOn Child and Family Centre for the little ones and everyone can continue their education remotely studying in French with Collège Boréal or in English with Contact North.

SMOOTH ROCK FALLS PUBLIC SCHOOL
The Smooth Rock Falls Public School, housed at the Basil Merchant Education Centre, is governed by the District School Board Ontario North East (DSBONE), and offers an English educational system to students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Students in grades 7 to 12 are bussed to the neighboring community of Kapuskasing, 65 kilometers west on Highway 11.
