Master glassblower Angelo Rossi calls Smooth Rock Falls home…
Angelo now at the fine age of 76 was Born in Venice Italy he started glassblowing at the age of 10 years old. Came to Canada in 1970 and has since been a very successful with his talent selling his wares across Canada and the United States meeting and working with different celebrities and teaching at different Universities. Started in Cornwall Ontario where he had over 100 Employees working there then moved to Niagara Falls in 1994 in the country’s honeymoon capital at the Skylon Tower. He has a passion for his art and would love to share his talent of glassmaking with those of our community and surrounding areas.
Come and join us to see his beautiful pieces of glass art, at the Town’s Legion .169 Fifth Street
Smooth Rock Falls, On. The event will be held on the following dates: Friday Sept 23rd from 12-3pm and then from 5-8pm. Saturday Sept 24th from 10-6pm.
There is no charge for the event and everyone who visits the exhibition will get a free gift $15.00 value ( while quantities last) .There will be beautifully displayed pieces of his art and a story of his amazing career and glassmaking skills on Video to watch ( seating provided ) You will get to meet the artist and be able to ask questions and if you care to have a drink the Legion Bar will be open ,and cheese platters for enjoyment at no cost.
Angelo is excited to finally get to talk about his art and meet all of you, share his stories and if anyone is interested glass is optional to purchase with a certificate of authenticity and signature from the artist. (A great gift idea like no other special and unique). Price ranges from $10.00 and up. Methods of payments accepted will be cash or e -transfer.
There will also be a draw on a particular piece at $3 per ticket, you will be able to see that piece being made by Angelo on a video.
